I was very impressed with Pete thru every step of the process. Prior to us even committing Pete offered suggestions about issues that I could have overlooked and he was right, they were things that needed to addressed. When it was time to proceed everything was confirmed and verified exactly as we’d discussed with no problems or surprises. All of his communication was quick and clear. The crews he used were professionals. The facia crew was great, whatever needed attention they didn’t just do patch repairs they upgraded and replaced everywhere it was needed. The roofers seemed to be everywhere and complicated areas that the last roofer had issues with concerned me. I knew it would take time and attention to detail that I was worried about,,,,,I’m glad to say there wasn’t even any discussion about it,,,,it was a roll up your sleeves, get the job done,,,,took till almost dark but was really really done well. As it was winding down everyone and I mean everyone was picking up dropped nails,,,everywhere, in the grass, rose bushes, 360 degrees around the house,,,,it was amazing, after they left other than a great roof there was no sign they’d ever been there. I was happy. I had several options available and all of them were competitive but I feel my decision to go with Horisons Roofing and Pete, couldn’t have worked out better. When you need a roof, do yourself a favor and give him a call.

I called Horisons Roofing to give me a quote on a new roof. My insurance company demanded I get one or my insurance would be cancelled in 30 days. Pete, the owner, was out right away. Turned out my 11 year old roof was fine! Pete even sent me a letter stating that fact. I in turn sent it to my insurance company. It was a battle with them and in the end I changed to another company. If it had not been for Pete’s honesty I would have paid for an unneeded new roof. Working with Pete and his team was very rewarding. Pete came out with his sales materials, reviewed the condition of the old roof, explained his team’s needs and other concerns that the team might have. He walked through collecting the needed information and went off to construct a proposal. In the meantime, we needed to consider who else we might be interested in hiring. One company said it would be at least 6 weeks before they could call us back. Another company did not call us back until well after the work had been completed. Needless to say, Pete made recommendations and completed his proposal. When he delivered his proposal along with the changes in roofing regulations, we were convinced they were our team. Pete was always very communicative through out the process and provided straight forward and truthful information. He said that they could start on a particular date and sure enough, the team was on-site as promised. They were working by 6:00 am. All of their activities were considerate of the property and cleanup. A great job by all.
